This is long and high forest ridge that divides the Arun and Tamur valley in the eastern Nepal. We can start trek from Basantapur or Tumlingtar and make a trek about 7 – 14 days up this ridge, which will offer the views of Makalu (8463m) to the west and Kanchenjunga (8586 m world’s third highest peak) to the east. The Milke Danda ridge eventually ends in some high peaks, so we have to retrace our route back down Chainpur and ending the trek at Tumlingtar or Basantapur. There are huge forests of rhododendrons along the ridge. Specially Milke Danda is the popular area in Nepal, where we can see many different kind of flowers including the Nepal’s national flower rhododendrons. As the higlights of the region is: Exploring village people and their way of life, great Himalayan panorama including Mt. Everest, Makalu, Kanchenjungha, beautiful blooms of different flowers including rhododendron.

Day- 01: Fly to Biratnagar or drive to Dharen
Day- 02: Drive to Basantapur (2200m)
Day- 03: Basantapur (2200m) - Chauki (2700m)
Day- 04: Chauki (2700m) - Guphapokhari (2930m)
Day- 05: Exploration around Milke Danda
Day- 06: Guphapokhari (2930m)- Nundhaki
Day- 07: Nundhaki - Siddha Pokhari
Day- 08: Siddha Pokhari - Kharang
Day- 09: Kharang - Tumlingtar
Day- 10: Fly from Tumlingtar to Kathamndu
Day -11 : Rest day in Kathmandu for your shopping.
Day -12: Drop to the kathamndu airport for your onward destination.
